A: No, we are not currently hiring.
Q: Do you sell gift certificates?
A: We offer gift certificates, which can be purchased in any amount.
Q: Do you take pre-orders?
A: We are happy to take pre-orders for forthcoming titles! We offer a 10% discount for ordering before the book is released. Pre-order sales also help out authors and let publishers know how much demand there is for a new title.
Q: What about special orders?
A: If you’d like a book that we don’t have in stock, we are happy to place a special order for you, which usually arrives at the store in 5-7 business days. Q: What is your return policy?
A: We don't normally take returns, but if you've purchased a book from us and need to exchange it, we can offer you store credit with the proof of receipt.

Q: Do you accept donations?
A: We do! We ask that the books be gently used, with no writing, underlines, or highlighting inside.
Q: Can I sell you my used books?
A: Yes! Our Buy Back Program is every Sunday from open to close. In return for your used books, you'll get store credit, which you can use the day of or on a future date. We ask that the books be gently used, with no writing, underlines, or highlighting inside.
Q: Do you participate in the First Friday Art Walk?
A: Yes! Every First Friday of the month, the bookstore stays open till 9:00pm. If you're a local artist interested in selling your wares for the event, you can reach us at bookstoreonthesquarestaff@gmail.com
Q: What is the closest parking lot to your store?
A: There's a parking garage on 215 East Mountain Ave, right across the street from our shop. The first hour is free, and every hour after is $1.00. Parking is free on Sundays and Holidays. Additionally, there's a parking lot on 215 Remington Street. The first two hours are free before drivers will have to move their vehicles. There is no time limit on Sundays. Further still, Matthews Street and Peterson Street offer free diagonal parking.
